Manifesto
- We occupy empty buildings and use them as artist's studios, galleries, and venues for other artistic activities such as cinema, theatre, musical performance etc.
- We welcome artists, and anyone else involved in art, our neighbours, our local community, passers by and everyone else who wants to be involved with us.
- We strive to be professional in our conduct and appearance.
- Our manifesto is open to revision.

What is DA ! Gallery?
It is an place for you, or anyone to use as a studio. All we ask is a small contribution to go towards the maintainance and running of the place.
Who is involved?
There are two parties involved the Squatters and the Owners. Therefore this is not a criminal matter; it is a civil matter between us. To gain access no damage was done, and since occupation many improvements have been made, such as fixing leaking gutters and cleaning up after the previous occupants (pigeons).
The Squatters:
Anyone who is interested in using the space to paint, sculpt, draw, write, play music, etc. at the moment we are:
Simon simon@dagallery.co.uk
Bogna bogna@dagallery.co.uk
Steph steph@dagallery.co.uk
Samuel conrad@dagallery.co.uk
Murat murat@dagallery.co.uk
The Owners:
Why squat?
In a nutshell squatting fills the gap. In more detail, and without wanting to sound too radical, squatting is a form of direct action in response to the inequalities between the individual and the capitalist system, which through its excessive beurocracy somehow overlooks such expensive properties as this, and allows them to lie idle for years on end.
Where is the squat?
This is a link to a map of the location of the squat. The post code is W8 5ED if you want to make a note of it and look it up yourself. When (not if) we are evicted we will proceed to find an alternative place. This squat is a manifestation of an idea, not necessarily a "place".
When is a good time to get involved?
Now.
How can I be a part of this?
Send an email to us or come to one of our open meetings on Wednesday evenings at 8pm.
